How it is used: These inputs are used to calculate body-mass index (BMI), basal metabolic rate (BMR), and related fitness metrics. This calculation is performed on your device.

Storage & retention: Your inputs and results are stored within your JK Bima profile/account so the app can display your fitness metrics, and are retained until you delete them or request account deletion.
The Face Scan feature uses your device's front camera to capture short-duration facial video in order to estimate general wellness indicators (such as stress index, wellness score, estimated heart rate, and related parameters) using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) — a technique that estimates wellness signals from subtle changes in facial skin colour.

This processing is performed on secure servers operated by Jk Bima Brokers of India Limited. Facial video is transmitted over an encrypted (TLS) connection solely to generate your wellness results, is processed only for that purpose, and is not shared with, sold to, rented to, or accessed by any third party.
Storage & retention:
If you choose to use the Step Tracker feature, the app may access physical activity data such as step count, estimated calories burned, and distance covered.
Source: This data is accessed from Apple Health (iOS) and Google Fit / Health Connect (Android), only after your explicit consent.
How it is used: This data is used solely to display activity insights within the app.
Sharing & storage: This activity data is not stored on JK Bima servers, remains only on your device, is not shared with third parties, and is not used for advertising or profiling.
Step, calorie, and distance values are estimates for general fitness and wellness purposes only and are not medical measurements.
Unless you expressly give us permission in writing, JK Bima will not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information other than as specified in this Policy.
Service providers assisting our operations: JK Bima may share personal information under confidentiality agreements with companies that work on our behalf to provide products and services (for example, the Face Scan processing provider identified above, if applicable). These companies may use your personal information only to assist us in our operations and have no independent right to share it.
